Connect offer a range of accessible musculoskeletal and rehabilitation services in a variety of convenient locations including GP surgeries, clinics and health centres. Our community-based models focus on prevention and effective rehabilitation for over 15 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), including this one in South West Essex. About the role - Connect are now looking for a well-organised and conscientious MSK Physiotherapists to deliver quality clinical care of musculoskeletal conditions for patients presenting in Community Services, with the focus of the role on women’s health physiotherapy. Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge is achieved. Developing and promoting a positive and dynamic image and culture, you must foster productive relationships with key stakeholders such as local Consultants, GP’s and corporate client sites and provide support and training to junior staff and Physiotherapy students. Who we’re looking for - You’ll be positive, constructive and approachable, along with being a will be registered with the HCPC, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a full qualified Physiotherapist. We’re looking for you to be capable of managing a varied caseload of MSK patients, you will have the ability to work under pressure and be committed to CPD. As the role is focusing on women’s health, you must have proven experience of this. We’re looking for you to have the desire to facilitate improvement in both self and service, you will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate confidently and effectively with both patients and colleagues alike. You may have experience of working within the NHS or it may be in the public or private sector, its more about you and the skills you can bring to Connect. You’ll also have HCPC and CSP registration. Please note that the successful candidate will need to undergo an Enhanced Check including barred lists under the Disclosure and Barring Service paid for by Connect.
