Connect offer a range of accessible musculoskeletal and rehabilitation services in a variety of convenient locations including GP surgeries, clinics and health centres. Our community-based models focus on prevention and effective rehabilitation for over 15 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), including this one in South West Essex. About the role - Connect are now looking for a well-organised and conscientious ESP MSK Physiotherapists to deliver quality clinical care of musculoskeletal conditions for patients presenting in Community Services. The role of an ESP is about the consistent delivery of quality clinical management of musculoskeletal conditions for the patients presenting to the intermediate care service. You’ll work as a self-sufficient practitioner and deliver a quality clinical service meeting the clinical and commercial needs of the CATS/IMATT contracts. Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge is achieved. Developing and promoting a positive and dynamic image and culture, you must foster productive relationships with key stakeholders such as local Consultants, GP’s and corporate client sites and provide support and training to junior staff and physiotherapy students. Who we're looking for - You’ll be positive, constructive and approachable, along with being registered with the HCPC, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a fully qualified Physiotherapist. We’re looking for you to be capable of managing a varied caseload of MSK patients, as well as having the ability to work under pressure and being committed to CPD. We’re looking for you to have the desire to facilitate improvement in both self and service. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate confidently and effectively with both patients and colleagues alike. You may have experience of working within the NHS or in the public or private sector, however the role is also about you and the skills you can bring to Connect. Please note that the successful candidate will need to undergo an Enhanced Check including barred lists under the Disclosure and Barring Service paid for by Connect.
