Senior Occupational Physiotherapists (Ref COPS002)

Description

About the Business Area - Connect Health is one of the largest and most respected independent providers of Occupational Physiotherapy Services in the UK, employing over 200 physiotherapists UK wide. Our focus is on delivering a quality service for our patients and our customers. We work together with companies to maximise the wellbeing and ultimately the resilience of their workforce. Our emphasis is placed on the importance of movement and activity, correct posture, and self-help prevention and management of MSDs, in any given workforce or working environment. In this way we can help businesses to achieve sustainable and long term reductions in absence, workplace injuries and claims. About the role - Connect are now looking for a well-organised and conscientious MSK Physiotherapist to deliver quality clinical care of musculoskeletal conditions for patients presenting in our Occupational Health contract with a large, local business on their site. Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge is achieved. Developing and promoting a positive and dynamic image and culture, you must foster productive relationships with key stakeholders in the business and the local onsite teams to proactively reduce the risk to their employees. Who we’re looking for - You’ll be positive, constructive and approachable, along with being registered with the HCPC, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a fully qualified Physiotherapist. We’re looking for you to be capable of managing a varied caseload of MSK patients, as well as having the ability to work under pressure and being committed to CPD. You’ll ideally have experience of working in an Occupational Health environment, but we’ll give you full support and training to develop you in your role. We’re looking for you to have the desire to facilitate improvement in both self and service. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate confidently and effectively with both patients and colleagues alike. You may have experience of working within the NHS or in the public or private sector, however the role is also about you and the skills you can bring to Connect. Please note that the successful candidate will need to undergo an Enhanced Check including barred lists under the Disclosure and Barring Service paid for by Connect.
