Description

This is a great opportunity to join our growing and vibrant national physiotherapy team. You will be fully supported as you move through the programme and receive expert guidance and supervision plus In Service Training and you’ll complete our well organised Accelerated Development programme. You will receive practical and theoretical supervision from day one to develop your skills and clinical reasoning. The Accelerated Development Programme (ADP), which is designed to enable Physiotherapist’s, to develop a high level of musculoskeletal clinical reasoning skills, confidence and professional decision making. The programme consists of weekly 3 hour sessions of teaching, delivered in a relaxed and informal manner. The sessions are delivered within contracted hours. There is a large practical element as well as time for discussion, clinical reasoning and patient case reflection within the group. Independent study is an essential part of the programme and participants are expected to do 3 – 6 hours of preparation study per week including revision of joint anatomy, reviewing relevant research articles and preparing patient reflection cases In the role, whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge is achieved. Developing and promoting a positive and dynamic image and culture, you must foster productive relationships with key stakeholders such as local Consultants, GP’s and corporate client sites and provide support and training to junior staff and Physiotherapy students. The role of an MSK Physiotherapist is fundamentally about the consistent delivery of quality clinical care of musculoskeletal conditions for the patients presenting in Community Services. You will be positive, constructive and approachable, along with being registered with the HCPC, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a fully qualified Physiotherapist looking for a role which will allow them to develop and further train to reach Senior Physiotherapist status. We are looking for you to be capable of managing a varied caseload of MSK patients, you will have the ability to work under pressure and be committed to CPD. As you will be part of the ADP programme you must be driven to succeed and want to further develop professionally.
